About this course:

A spill is the unexpected and uncontrolled leak of a substance. If not brought under control, the substance that has leaked can be released into, and has the potential to cause severe harm to the environment. This course is intended for both members of staff who will need to control and clean a spill, and managers who are looking to develop spill control procedures for their organisation. Some of the topics included in this course are the following: You will be introduced to the regulations concerning the control of spills, learn about the different types of spill kits you may encounter on your site, and the best practices for cleaning up spills.

Course Completion

At then end of this course you will be required to complete a multiple choice assessment based on the information provided and what you have learned.

Delegates will need to pass the assessment within this course to ensure successful completion. The pass mark is 70%

You will have a maximum of 3 attempts to reach the required pass mark. You can revisit the course content if you need to before attempting the assessment again.

Once the assessment has been passed, you will be issued with a certificate.
