This course is for any office, admin or staff who will benefit from Manual Handling Awareness. This course does NOT replace the face-to-face Manual Handling Course delivered to Service/Parts or Workshop staff.
About this course:
Everyone is exposed to Manual Handling in one way or another. This could be from carrying heavy items to changing the paper in a printer. Incorrectly lifting any items, no matter the weight, can and does lead to injury (Sometimes permanent).
Manual Handling Awareness is useful knowledge for anyone, this course is specifically designed for office or administration staff who do NOT work in the workshop or Parts.
This e-learning module will cover:
- Introduction to manual handling awareness
- Definition of Manual Handling
- Consequences of Poor Manual Handling
- Manual Handling Control Measures
- Understanding Good Handling Technique
Learning Outcomes
- This course is to provide delegates with a working understanding of the dangers and ways to prevent injury from improper manual handling methods.
Course Completion
At then end of this course you will be required to complete a multiple choice assessment based on the information provided and what you have learned.
Delegates will need to pass the assessment within this course to ensure successful completion. The pass mark is 70%.
You will have a maximum of 3 attempts to reach the required pass mark. You can revisit the course content if you need to before attempting the assessment again.
Once the assessment has been passed, you will be issued with a certificate.
The certificate will be issued by Inspire International UK Ltd, the UK’s leading health and safety management company focusing on vehicle workshop safety. The certificate will clearly show your name; your company name; name of course taken; pass percentage; expiry date and any applicable course accreditation marks.
